International Maritime Law Seminar, XI Edition

Last October 27th took place in London the 11th edition of the International Maritime Law Seminar, organised annually by Luis de San Simón, along with other renowned lawyers from all around the world since 2006.

The 2016 edition means the 11th edition of this international seminar that was born with the aim of being a modest forum for debate and analysis of the leading questions of the day for all maritime sector professionals and has become in a really relevant one with more than 350 participants.

The ILS has now grown to the extent that is one of the leading legal events of its kind in the British capital.

With more than 350 participants this edition of the Seminar was deeply special and a huge success said Luis de San Simón, the event’s founder.

The speakers came from around the world, and all have one thing in common: they are renowned, prestigious lawyers from the world’s leading maritime law firms. The moderators, meanwhile, are distinguished professionals from the industry.

The 14 speakers analysed, over the sessions, the recent developments in Maritime Law in various jurisdictions. In the case of Spain, the topic was the “The collapse of Hanjin in Spain”.
